The Food Challenge

As you are wrapping up your Purification Program and are completing the Detox pillar of health it will be important to remember a few things. The purpose of the Detox was not only to reset your body from the inside out on a cellular level, but also to help you to look at food differently and begin to make better long-term food choices.

Many of you are starting to “listen” to your body and how it responds to food for the first time. It is important to understand that the diet you were eating on Days 11-21 needs to be the foundation for the diet for the rest of your life. As you begin to re-introduce foods back into your diet you need to “listen” to your body and take appropriate actions. There are some things that you may not be able to tolerate and those foods need to be permanently removed from your diet. I have attached a document on the top 8 food sensitivities. Take particular care as you re-introduce these into your diet. Only add 1 in at a time and give yourself 2-3 days with each one prior to adding in another. Hopefully by now you know if you have questions we don’t want you to hesitate to ask. We are here for you.

The Top 8 Food  Sensitivities are Dairy, Corn, Tomatoes, Eggs, Soy, Shellfish, Wheat/Gluten and Peanuts.

For some of you based upon your labs If you are gluten sensitive then wheat, barley and rye are also on your list.

NOTE : Continue with all the supplements until they are gone.

Pick the foods that you are missing the most when you start the food challenge i.e. Shrimp, Eggs, tomatoes.

Get a decent exposure to the food you are challenging e.g. 1-2 times each day during the testing.

  • Within minutes you will get a chronic need to clear your throat.
  • Gas or bloating stomach
  • Severe Heartburn
  • Some type of symptom that is noticeably different about your body. A “Black and white difference”.
  • Sometimes you just feel a generalized feeling of uneasiness.

IF you react on day one or day two stop eating that food until we talk again.

IF you do not have a reaction by day 3 then you can re-introduce it back into your diet.

IF you do have a reaction, make sure you are back to your baseline or back to feeling normal again BEFORE you start the next new food challenge.

“I have seen 9 doctors in the last 3 years for my female problems and none of them could find the cause of my excessive bleeding. Since being on your program and taking your advice I no longer have an issue. My periods are back to normal and the best part about it is I am off of all the drugs that were making me feel so lousy. Thanks for showing me how to change my lifestyle to change my life. Oh yeah, I have already lost 16 pounds too.”
